Put it in your calendar: the Garden Club of Palm Beach and the Society of the Four Arts is hosting The Flower Show on Wednesday, April 24th from 10 AM to 4 PM. It’s free and open to the public.

Jazz on J Street is happening every third Tuesday of the month at J Street and Lake Avenue in Lake Worth at the Book Sellers. Catch a variety of fun featured artists. It’s always fun to check out Art After Dark at the Norton Museum on Fridays. This Friday, April 19th, you can see Women Composers of the Americas. It kicks off at 7 PM – should be interesting!

Award Season in Palm Beach County

It’s an Academy-Award Winning week in Palm Beach County! The actual Academy Awards will be taking place on February 24th, so don’t miss that!

In Lake Worth on the 24th, there will be the Street Painting Festival. It’s been going on for years, and is always fun to see. There will also be another special event; the Spring Art Happening featuring visionary artist Jill Karlin, at the St. Andrews’ Episcopal Church in Lake Worth. St. Andrews is holding this event at 4 PM to benefit the Way Cafe, which provides meals for the homeless.

Double Roads Tavern always has fantastic jazz on Sundays. On Tuesday nights, catch Mark Telesca doing the blues. There are also some fabulous events in Boca Raton this week because of the Concours d’Elegance, the classic car show. I’ll be showing in the lobby of the Boca Raton Resort Hotel all day Saturday and Sunday, from 10 AM until 6 PM. Please come by, say hello, and see my one of a kind pieces of wearable art! It’s going to be spectacular.
