Bonnie’s Buzzing About the Big Apple – NYC!

I’m so excited for a week of seeing friends, clients in New York City! Here is your city culture guide to everything I’m excited for this June.

Broadway is one of my major highlights, and I’m so excited to see Hadestown. It’s up for 14 Tony Awards! Also, see Ain’t Too Proud, the story of The Temptations, it should be great.

Don’t miss Hadestown – Now Showing

Green roofs are all the rage, which is why the latest Roof Garden Commission is a must-see. The Met Fifth Avenue’s latest roof garden collaboration is brought to life by Polish visual artist Alicja Kwade. Don’t miss it – on display now until fall! Another great exhibition is Augusta Savage: Renaissance Women, featuring the sculpture work of renowned activist Augusta Savage.

Enjoy the Met’s latest Green Roof Commission

On June 11th, many of NYC’s most notable ballroom dancers will be striking a pose at the Met for Battle of the Legends: Vogueing at the Met. Enjoy that exhibition, and the variety of Pride events hosted throughout June at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Every Thursday this summer at Union Square Park, get ready for Citi Summer in the Square! It’s a full day of free performances, live music, yoga, classic movie showings and more.

Exploring Nature in Palm Beach County

This time of year, it’s such a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of all the natural beauty of Palm Beach County.

It’s not too crowded this time of year, and it’s much nicer than having to drive to the Everglades and navigate through the swamps. It’s easy to explore the Nature in our own backyard!

Green Cay Nature Center

These wonderful places in Palm Beach County have a multitude of recreational activities to enjoy. Places with boardwalks are great, because they are handicap accessible, and you can use the boardwalk to explore all the natural beauty of the swamp lands. There are trails to hike, and wonderful opportunities for bird-watching. You can see the most incredible flowers in bloom, wildlife, and plant life.

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse

Here are a few of my other favorite nature spots:

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse has tours, and has beautiful landscaping and natural plant life. Many of the other locations listed above allow you to get up close and personal to the scrubs, the rare plants, the birdwatching, the marshes, and more.

MacArthur Beach

This is the perfect time of year to explore the natural beauty around us. Many of these recreational activities are free! Just remember – whether you’re exploring Nature on a beautiful boardwalk, or hiking to a winery, it’s all about style.

Schedule to see the latest from the Bonnie Roseman BLT Collection.

Marvelous Mid May in Palm Beach County

This week, it’s all about Nature! This May in Palm Beach County, everything is in bloom, the grass is green, and the flowers are fragrant.

I suggest you make time to visit Singer Island, and walk along the beaches there. You can visit the Flagler Museum, and walk along the Intercoastal Waterway, as you enjoy the ocean views. You can walk or ride along the bike trail, and enjoy the beautiful homes and greenery along the way.

Henry M. Flagler Museum

Just a reminder, we’re in turtle season! There are lots of turtles nesting on the beaches, so be careful! You can always visit more animals at the Palm Beach Zoo, where they are always offering new animal experiences.

Experience wildlife at the Palm Beach Zoo

It’s also a great time of year to take a stroll on Worth Avenue. Take a walk through all the little vias, and enjoy the architecture of the classic buildings. Remember, every Friday the Norton Museum hosts Art After Dark. It’s a marvelous place to enjoy nature, have a cocktail, and their sculpture garden.

Norton’s Art After Dark

Now that many residents have already gone North, it’s a great time to see everything Palm Beach County has to offer, without the crowds. Whether you’re strolling down Worth Avenue for some shopping, or taking pictures of turtles on the beach, remember, it’s all about style!

Let’s make sure your wardrobe is working for you. Remember, I now have clothing for women and men!
