It’s my birthday week, and I’m buzzing all over Palm Beach County having a wonderful time!
My friend Avery Sommers will be performing at the Sol Theatre through February 3rd – more info right here!
NAMI will be having a special event at the Lily Pulitzer store on 5th Avenue this Thursday, and we’ll have Lilian and Mycol performing Saturday nights at Cafe Centro! Rob Russell and Michael Masci will also be at Cafe Centro on the 21st.
At the Kravis Center, we have Spamelot coming in the main theater, and we have Carole Bufford performing her one woman show this weekend. Also, Catskills on Broadway coming Sunday night to the Kravis.
There are so many other fun events happening in town this time of year. Check out the School of the Arts Foundation – there are a lot of events that the kids are putting on. They have quite a season planned out! On Tuesday nights at Maven restaurant in Palm Beach, there’s Bassa Jazz! There are usually special artists guests, so it’s a lot of fun to see the show!
So whether you’re going to an art gallery opening, or it’s your birthday and you’re hitting the town, remember, it’s all about style!

On WPBT, our local TV station, the Charlie Brown Christmas Special is showing on December 20th from 8 PM until 9 PM. It’s always such a fun feature to watch with friends and family to put you in the Christmas mood.

New Hope, Bucks County, Pennsylvania! It’s just outside of Philadelphia, close to where I grew up.
It’s so quant, and full of charming restaurants, galleries, and they’re famous for their Bucks County Playhouse. People come from all over the country not just for the landscape views, but also for the arts and entertainment programs.
They have a wonderful Children’s Museum, and there are 8 family-owned wineries in the area. There are a multitude of tours in the area to enjoy, along with hiking trails and the Bucks County Railroad. It’s the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad.
One of the most famous things to do while you’re exploring Bucks County is to take a tour of the Delaware Canal. The most famous Playhouse outside of Philadelphia, Bucks County Playhouse, puts on productions straight from Broadway.
So whether you’re strolling through the quant charming town of New Hope in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, or you’re down on Flagler in West Palm Beach, remember, it’s all about style.

This week’s Buzz is all about the letter “B!” Broadway and the Big Apple!
If you’re going up to New York this week, it’s exciting. The Tony Awards have all been given out, and there’s a few picks of my own that I recommend. On Monday night, go to Birdland. It’s Legend’s Radio’s New York Minute, Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch at the helm and a Cast Party! All the top stars from Broadway come and share their talent – not to be missed!
At the top of everybody’s list is Hello Dolly this season with Bette Midler. A tough ticket, but a must-see. A few new shows on the pike that everyone’s talking about: Natasha Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 starring Josh Groban, and Come From Away, which is absolutely heartwarming. A revival that everyone is raving about is Miss Saigon – it’s absolutely phenomenal. Get your tickets for any of these fantastic shows online at www.broadway.com.
A personal favorite: War Paint, starring Christine Ebersole and Patti LuPone. Christine’s been a friend of mine for 35 years. She’s won two Tony Awards! Patti LuPone is also a major star on Broadway and a Tony Award winner. They play Elizabeth Arden and Helena Rubinstein – with set designs, and costumes, and voices like that it’s not to be missed!
Everybody is talking about the dramatic plays this season. A Doll’s House Part 2 with Laurie Metcalf and Chris Cooper and we have Oslo, about the Middle East Peace talks of 1993. We also have The Little Foxes, Lillian Hellman’s play, starring Cynthia Nixon and Laura Linney on alternate nights. And, we have Kevin Kline and Noel Coward in Present Laughter.
My last recommendation is Dear Evan Hansen. It’s at the top of just about everyone’s list. There are many other fabulous plays on Broadway this season- get a ticket to a show if you can!
It’s a sizzling summer in Manhatten. Remember that as I’m buzzing around the country, the letter “B” is my favorite letter, but I have all the letters, A through Z, as part of my Bonnie Roseman BLT Collection of accessories. I have your favorite letter too, dipped in silver or gold, which can make a fabulous necklace or belt – a great addition to any wardrobe.
Keep checking in with me this summer as I buzz around the country, at LegendsRadio.com and bonnieroseman.com. I’ll be giving you recommendations for where to go, what to see, and what to wear when you get there!
