Bonnie’s Buzz About Town – Christmas 2019

It’s a Merry Christmas and a Happy Hanukkah, and what a week it is!

I want to take the time to acknowledge Legends Radio for preserving the Great American Songbook, and for making so many people across the world happy to know that this music is alive and well.

And a huge thanks to all the people who produce Bonnie’s Buzz! It’s been four years, and I’m thrilled to be a part of this radio station. Much love to my producer, Mike McGann, Jill and Rich of the Morning Lounge, and to Dick Robinson for creating this station. My Christmas gift is my thanks to all of you!

Legends Radio 100.3 FM – Keeping the American Songbook alive!

Cheers to a new decade coming up, there is so much going on! I just found out Susan Merritt is going to be singing at Cafe Centro on Christmas Day, we have Gavlak Gallery in the Royal Poinciana Plaza doing a lecture on the 28th, Rolando Chang Barrero will be at the Box Gallery hosting his Black & White Affair. We also have Rob Russell singing at the Pelican Cafe on the 29th, we have Gregory Popeye Alexander and Greg Jackson singing on New Year’s Eve at Cafe Centro, and so much more!

I’m so proud to live in Palm Beach County, a place so rich in music, culture and entertainment. To all of you out there, I wish you a very Merry Christmas!

Bonnie’s Buzz About Town – December 12th 2019

Ho ho ho! It’s the holiday season here in Palm Beach County!

Don’t forget to go to the Kravis Center for The Play That Goes Wrong, showing through the 15th. At Palm Beach Dramaworks, it’s the world premiere of Ordinary Americans – sounds fun!

It’s always great to do a little last minute Christmas Shopping at the Palm Beach Flea Market. They now have an antique fair at the 300 block on Clematis Street. This is every Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., but during the holidays, it’s terrific.

There is a lot of live music happening in Palm Beach. Cafe Centro is having a wonderful event hosted by Rob Russell, and the cover charges collected will go to support the Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook. Also, Voltaire is having a lot of entertainment, and it’s located on the upper part of Clematis Street. If you haven’t made it to Rosemary Square, it’s definitely worth checking out. It’s really great what they’ve done with Cityplace to make it so user-friendly.

The Wandering Soap Opera, going on through the 12th at the Lake Worth Playhouse sounds like fun, and, I also recommend that you go over to the Breakers Hotel. They have beautiful trees in the lobby, and festive decorations everywhere. If you don’t feel like Christmas, you will after going to the Breakers. It is just exquisite!

Whether you’re Christmas shopping downtown, or attending a festive theater show, remember, it’s all about style.

Bonnie’s Buzz About Town – Thanksgiving 2019

This is Bonnie buzzing around at Thanksgiving, to thank all of you for all that you do to make Legends Radio so wonderful!

It’s one of the most fabulous station’s in the nation, and we’re so lucky to have a station that plays the Great American Songbook.

This week is a shout-out to everyone involved, from Jill & Rich in The Morning Lounge, all the other wonderful DJs, Mike McGann for helping me produce all my segments, and especially to Dick Robinson for creating Legends Radio 100.3 FM. Thank you ALL for making this station so great. It’s a great station to listen to during the holidays – stream it live here!

I love being able to help everyone with their wardrobe needs, while making them as stylish as possible during the social season down here in Palm Beach County.

Happy New Year, Happy New You!

Happy Holidays, from me to all of you! Thank you to all my Bonnie’s Buzz listeners and readers. I want to thank you, from Legends Radio for this wonderful opportunity to share my favorite activities in the arts and entertainments each week, and from around the country each season. May your holidays be happy, healthy, and most importantly – stylish!

There will be fireworks in West Palm Beach down by the waterfront, and Harbourside is going to have a wonderful firework show MC’ed by Legends Radio’s own Mike McGahnn!

Home for the Holidays in South Florida

Christmas and New Year’s are right around the corner, and there’s so much happening right here in Palm Beach County and Southern Florida that it’s hard to know where to begin!

The 7th Annual Black & White Affair is taking place at The Box Gallery on Saturday the 29th. You have to pay at the door, and be there promptly. There will be a live performance of Cuban culture, food and drink, and a wonderful display of art.

Rob Russell is going to be at the Pelican Cafe on the 23rd of December. Make your reservations now – it’s sure to be a sellout! They have wonderful food, and the entertainment is always top notch.

Hamilton is finally coming straight from Broadway to the Broward Center. It will be showing until January 20th in Fort Lauderdale. You can take the Brightline and have a wonderful time – the show is phenomenal!

On WPBT, our local TV station, the Charlie Brown Christmas Special is showing on December 20th from 8 PM until 9 PM. It’s always such a fun feature to watch with friends and family to put you in the Christmas mood.

So whether you’re out at the Kravis Center for a show, strolling down Clematis Street, or taking the Bright Line down to Fort Lauderdale to see Hamilton, remember, it’s all about style.
