Bonnie’s Buzzing About Nashville, Tennessee

Music, dancing, and that good ol’ Southern style – this week, it’s all about Nashville, Tennessee!

No trip to Nashville is complete without a visit to the Grand Ole Opry! See bands perform live, learn about famous musicians who got their start, and enjoy photo opportunities on the way in. It’s a must see! For more country music history, visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. See gorgeous performance costumes, records, guitars and more! Nashville has so much music history to enjoy.

For you outdoor lovers, I recommend taking a hike around Radnor Lake. The State Park area boasts plenty of outdoor trails and paths to explore the rolling Tennessee hills and forests. When you’ve had your exercise, head to Germantown for a delicious sausage link at Von Elrod’s Beer Garden & Sausage House or Butchertown Hall. Delicious!

The Pinewood Social is another really cute spot to hang out! It’s a cafe, bowling alley, co-working space, and more. Remember, having an itinerary is nice, but sometimes travel can be the most fun when we explore! Just wandering around Nashville is a fun experience. Enjoy the street musicians, art galleries and shops as you wander through this Southern city, and eat all the cuisine you can!

So whether you’re going to a show at the Grand Ol’ Opry, or hiking around Radnor Lake, remember, it’s all about style!

What better way to enjoy the summer than to visit this gorgeous city on the water. Here is everything you need to know about exploring Annapolis, Maryland!

One of the most loved green spaces in Annapolis is the Quiet Rivers Park. Enjoy scenic routes for biking, hiking trails, and bird watching. If a vino tour is more your style, consider booking the Chesapeake Wine Tour, featuring delectable drinks from the region.

Strolling down Main Street will offer you plenty of places to explore, but if you really want to see the city, the Trolley Tour is the way to go. You’ll learn and see 350 years of history in just one hour. The William Paca House is another fabulous tour opportunity! Built in the late 1700s, explore the garden and grounds to learn how the Colonial Elite of the East Coast used to live.

Sunny, beautiful, Santa Fe! It’s often voted one of the best cities in the US for weather, so it’s a great place to visit any time of the year.

Enjoy the programs put on by the Santa Fe School of Cooking, where you can take cooking classes, and cultural cuisine tours. Combine your love of cooking and history for the Half Day Santa Fe Food and History Walking Tour!

Canyon Road is famed for its’ art, and there’s even a walking tour to guide you to all the best artisan hotspots. For something a little more immersive, check out Meow Wolf, “House of Eternal Return,” the permanent interactive walk-through art installation created by a collaborative of young artists. Bonnie’s Buzzing About Our Nation’s Capitol: Washington DC

Happy Birthday to the United States of America! Fellow patriots, these are the must-see spectacles for the Fourth of July and midsummer in Washington D.C.

Line up on Constitution Avenue for the National Independence Day Parade! Watch as military men and women, drum corps, fancy floats and more parade through the streets. A Capitol Fourth is a free concert on the lawn of the Capitol Building, and of course, there are many spots to get a great look at the fireworks with the backdrop of our National Monuments.
