There’s more sunshine now that the clocks have sprung forward here in Palm Beach County. It means it’s that much easier to stay out later and have fun.
An American in Parison Sunday, March 16th, and Michael Feinstein with special guest Chita Rivera, are at the Kravis Center. Get your tickets immediately at kravis.org if you’re interested in either of those events – before they sell out! There are always wonderful things going on at the Kravis Center.
Jazz on J Street will be happening on March 17th for St. Patty’s Day, and Rob Russell is having his St. Patty’s Day show at Cafe Centro. They are both fabulous events to celebrate the holiday.
Palm Beach Improv is coming up this weekend featuring Marlan Wayans. Visit palmbeachimprov.com for further information on his shows. On the 19th of March, Memory Lane is at the Chesterfield. It’s early enough that you can get a special deal: four days, three stages of West Palm Beach’s Sunfest. It won’t be until the end of April, but I thought I would tell you now so you can plan ahead.
Don’t forget the GreenMarket on Saturdays! It’s always lovely there down at the Waterfront on Clematis. To finish off your weekend, go and see my Movie Pick of the Week, Jane Austen’s Emma. It is fantastic.

March is coming in with a roar – there is so much to do in Palm Beach County!
Jazz on J Street is happening on March 17th, so put it in your calendar! There will be multiple fantastic jazz artists to celebrate Saint Patty’s Day. This Friday night at Cafe Centro, is a special appearance by Lilian and Maycol. I’m looking forward to that!
Miss Saigon opens this coming week at the Kravis Center. Visit kravis.org for tickets. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a fabulous show on Broadway that’s won numerous awards. Another fabulous evening idea is Evening on Antique Row! Enjoy drinks, food and music while you sip and shop for beautiful antiques. Go to hspbc.org for information regarding tickets.
The Funky Biscuit in Boca always has a fabulous Blues Night on Monday night. Usually my friend Mark Telesca is the host, and you get to hear him jam as well. On Saturday in Lake Worth at the Lake Worth Historical Museum, artist Jill Karlin will be having a fabulous exhibition of her paintings, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Happy Leap Year! This week, we get an extra day to celebrate our time here in Palm Beach County.
You can go to the GreenMarket on the 29th, and get some wonderful fresh veggies and produce. Once you have your munchies, head on over to the Antique Market on Clematis Street. While you’re out and about, check out the new Rosemary Square. The new Ben Hotel has just opened, and it has a beautiful rooftop bar to check out.
Another thing to get excited about is taking the Brightline on March 8th, to go to Broward Center for the Performing Arts and see Melissa Errico – it should be a fabulous show, so get your tickets now. If you haven’t gotten your tickets for Steve Tyrell at Table 26 in West Palm Beach, he’s there for four nights. He’ll be performing there from March 8th to March 12th – get your tickets before they sell out!
You don’t want to miss Avery Sommers and Rob Russell in their new show, I Love Being Here With You at the North Palm Beach Country Club. There will also be an after dinner cabaret show. Check out more information about the show at LegendsRadio.com.
Over at Cafe Centro, it’s Gregg Jackson’s birthday Friday night, and it’s also a wonderful place to go dancing to those Motown sounds. For more culture, head to the Paul Fisher Gallery to see Camilla Webster’s art on Friday night. There is a lot going on this week, and so many fun events to attend.

It’s a Presidential week here in Palm Beach County, and there’s so much to do…
Memory Lane will be at the Chesterfield this Thursday night. Be sure to get your tickets in advance if you want to see Rob Russell and Avery Sommers in their show, I Love Being Here With You at the North Palm Beach Country Club. For further information, contact Legends Radio. This event will be a fundraiser for the Great American Songbook.
At the Eissey Theater coming up this week, on Friday is Judy Collins, and Saturday it’s Broadway Super Star Linda Eder. For more of the fabulous Palm Beach County Culture, be sure to go to Culture and Cocktails on March 2nd at The Colony. It should be a very interesting lecture, featuring best-selling author James Patterson and Leslie Streeter of the Palm Beach Post.
Ballet Florida will be having some performances at the Kravis on March 7th and 8th. Skylight, a wonderful play by David Hare, will be at Dramaworks through March 1st. There’s a wonderful art exhibition at the Palm Beach Cultural Council in Lake Worth Beach through May 30th with all kinds of lectures. For more info visit palmbeachculture.com.
