Bonnie is continuing her whirlwind tour through the USA.
She left the Windy City, and made her way to St. Louis, where she stayed at a historic landmark building called the Seven Gables Inn.
Leave it to Bonnie to find the local “treasures!” She discovered Ted Drewes Frozen Custard, a shop so popular, there is always a queue for the tasty treat, rain or shine. Later, at a place called “Hodak’s,” Bonnie ate the “best fried chicken in the country.”

Moving on, Bonnie loaded up the entire BLT Boutique into the car, and made the short drive to Kansas City, Kansas. “It was a wild experience – I’ve never been to a neighborhood where you go from one state to the other across the street!” It’s not surprising that Bonnie learned about a famous BBQ hotspot called “Oklahoma Joe’s,” well worth the long wait.

Five hours before the Kansas City Royals and San Francisco Giants met in Game 7 of the World Series, Bret Saberhagen baked in the mid-day sun with 10 friends and family members, waiting his turn along with a crowd of more than 100 people that snaked out the door and into the parking lot of the famed [Oklahoma Joe’s]. ––USA Today
Bonnie takes suggestions from her local clientele and loves to share her good experiences. Bonnie recommends Hotel Sorella in Kansas City, a hip boutique hotel.
