Put it in your calendar: the Garden Club of Palm Beach and the Society of the Four Arts is hosting The Flower Show on Wednesday, April 24th from 10 AM to 4 PM. It’s free and open to the public.

Jazz on J Street is happening every third Tuesday of the month at J Street and Lake Avenue in Lake Worth at the Book Sellers. Catch a variety of fun featured artists. It’s always fun to check out Art After Dark at the Norton Museum on Fridays. This Friday, April 19th, you can see Women Composers of the Americas. It kicks off at 7 PM – should be interesting!

Hoppin’ Activities in Palm Beach County

April is hoppin’ with activity in Palm Beach County, and Easter is just around the corner! Palm Beach Dramaworks is showing Fences, one of August Wilson’s finest plays. It has received numerous Tony awards, and you have a chance to catch it locally. Visit pbdramaworks.com for tickets.

The Palm Beach International Jazz Fest is happening on the 13th of April, and there will be two shows: one at 2 PM, one at 7:30 PM. Go to kravis.org for more information, and to get your tickets.

The 25th Anniversary of Rent is coming to the Kravis on April 17th! I’ll be there to meet and greet, so it would be great to see you! I can remember going to the opening night at the New York City TheatreWorkshop when it opened originally. Another really interesting event happening at the Kravis will be the NoGravity Dance Company on the 18th of April at 8 o’clock. Visit kravis.org for a schedule and to get tickets.

Don Taglialatella’s Gallery is having a wonderful photography exhibition on the 16th, featuring photographs of Mick Jagger by Nancy Ellison. It’s all from the 70s and 80s, so it should be a phenomenal show.

Roaring March in Palm Beach County

March is going out with a roar, and April is coming in as fragrant as those beautiful flowers blooming.

Spring into Fabulous Activities in Palm Beach County

Spring is right around the corner, and lots of activities are springing up all over Palm Beach County!

Bette, Babs & Beyond will be held at the Crest Theatre at Old School Square on March 22nd – it should be a wonderful evening. Pistache Cafe, the French Bistro on Clematis Street is going to have jazz starting on Fridays, all the way through April 26th. Grab a tasty treat while you tap your feet!

The women’s U.S. Open Polo Championship is this Saturday, March 23rd. Head to their website for more information on where to watch. August Wilson’s play Fences has been a major hit on Broadway, and will be showing at the Palm Beach Dramaworks starting March 29th through April 21st.

Also, don’t forget about Art After Dark at the Norton Art Museum, every Friday from 5 PM until 10 PM for free – what an amazing outing to do with friends! This week at Clematis by Night from 6 PM until 9 PM, it’s a farewell to the Mayor. It’s sure to be a very festive evening in West Palm Beach.
