Moving into May in Palm Beach County

It’s the wonderful month of May, and there’s a lot happening in Palm Beach County!

The big event this week is SunFest! It’s going on this Thursday, May 2nd through Sunday May 5th, and ends with a grand finale full of fireworks. See the full list of performers online here. Don’t miss it, it’s sure to be a blast!

Coming to the Mizner Park Cultural Center on May 5th, comedian Judy Gold! She is a fantastic comedian who I saw perform while in Nantucket – she is jaw-dropping, so funny! Get your tickets online.

Chart Magazine is hosting an event at the Hai House Restaurant in Palm Beach next to Saks. It’s on May 8th from 5 PM until 7 PM, and will serve as a great networking opportunity for people involved in charity and the arts.

Bonnie’s Buzzing About Artist Anca

Throughout my travels and even when exploring Palm Beach County, I am always finding artists that I love who are looking for representation. I’ve been doing it for over 30 years.

Artist Anca does custom painting on leather, and I’m so lucky I found her! When my beautiful leather couch started to get some spots, she came to the rescue with her artistic skills, and completely updated the look of my living room piece.

Anca can work on purses, paint on leather clothing, belts, and furniture. I love the unique one of a kind wearable art that can be part of our wardrobes, as well as functional art that brings us joy in our homes.

No Foolin’ This April in Palm Beach County

It’s April here in Palm Beach County, and I’m not just fooling you, but we have so much fun going on every day of the week here!

Get your tickets here for Friday April 12th, at 8 PM at the Kravis Center and see Precious Gems, featuring the legendary pianist Leon Fleisher. It’s being put on by the Palm Beach Symphony, which is in it’s 45th season. Contact palmbeachsymphony.org for further information.

Roaring March in Palm Beach County

March is going out with a roar, and April is coming in as fragrant as those beautiful flowers blooming.

On March 28th, you can attend an event to help support our Veterans. Grab a ticket from the Freedom Fantasy Gala in West Palm Beach to benefit Achilles International. Get your tickets online here. On April 6th There’s Brew at the Zoo! Taste an array of great beers while supporting the animals of the Palm Beach Zoo.

Spring into Fabulous Activities in Palm Beach County

Spring is right around the corner, and lots of activities are springing up all over Palm Beach County!

Bette, Babs & Beyond will be held at the Crest Theatre at Old School Square on March 22nd – it should be a wonderful evening. Pistache Cafe, the French Bistro on Clematis Street is going to have jazz starting on Fridays, all the way through April 26th. Grab a tasty treat while you tap your feet!

The women’s U.S. Open Polo Championship is this Saturday, March 23rd. Head to their website for more information on where to watch. August Wilson’s play Fences has been a major hit on Broadway, and will be showing at the Palm Beach Dramaworks starting March 29th through April 21st.

Also, don’t forget about Art After Dark at the Norton Art Museum, every Friday from 5 PM until 10 PM for free – what an amazing outing to do with friends! This week at Clematis by Night from 6 PM until 9 PM, it’s a farewell to the Mayor. It’s sure to be a very festive evening in West Palm Beach.

Michael Dolen: Contemporary Baroque Exhibition will be at Paul Fisher Gallery on Friday, March 22nd from 6 PM until 8:30 PM. I wanted to also let you know that Michael Masci is going to have a special program at Cafe Centro on April 1st, and is introducing a really good crooner. Get your tickets online here.
